Research Plan: There are two types of research

  1. Secondary/Desk Research
  2. Primary Research

1.Secondary/Desk Research:
Secondary research refers to the process of gathering information from existing sources such as books, journal articles, reports, and databases, rather than collecting new data through primary research methods like surveys, interviews, or experiments. This research provides us with an understanding of the issues, which offers us a strong base for primary research.

Primary Research: Primary research is undertaken based on the insights received from secondary research. This allows researchers to tailor data collection methods to their specific research questions and objectives. Primary research is of two types

Qualitative research: is a descriptive method where we will be performing in-depth interviews to understand the user goals, pain points, interests and values.

Quantitative research: Based on the insights gained from the qualitative research, we will conduct quantitative research in the form of a survey, which will assist us in learning and validating the data obtained from the qualitative research, as well as providing us with a more comprehensive understanding of the problem or challenges faced.

By  using above data to do affinity mapping, create persona and do empathy mapping.
